Recognizing the pivotal role of the G-20 in shaping a world order grounded in rules that foster shared prosperity and security, President Tinubu stressed, as stated by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, that many of today’s critical issues have an “international character” and necessitate multilateral cooperation.
He underscored the importance of enhanced collaboration, cooperation, and partnerships among diverse regions as the means to attain a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable future for the global community.
President Tinubu emphasized that the G-20’s role and contributions in shaping a new world order that prioritizes fairness and adherence to established rules cannot be overstated.
He noted that a world marked by significant income disparities and unequal access to basic social services for the majority of the population cannot lead to a peaceful and secure world characterized by shared prosperity.
