Her confirmation followed a comment from a fan who complimented her beauty and asked whether she was still married. Queen replied that she is “single and unavailable,” dispelling any uncertainty about her marital status.

Rumors about the couple’s split first surfaced in August after Queen and David unfollowed each other on Instagram. Around that period, David was also seen in photos without his wedding ring, fueling more speculation.

Queen later removed David’s photos from her social media page and deleted his name from her bio. By October last year, their seven-month marriage again drew attention when she unfollowed him once more.

In December, however, there appeared to be signs of reconciliation when Queen travelled to the United Kingdom to spend Christmas with David. They shared moments online that suggested they were working on their relationship, with Queen hinting at resuming her role as a wife and David assuring he would care for her.

The couple had their introduction ceremony in Akwa Ibom, attended by friends and colleagues, before officially registering their marriage at the Federal Marriage Registry in Lagos. Their wedding followed shortly after in March.
