Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Adeyanju shared a candid opinion on why many women remain in toxic and abusive relationships, linking it to materialism and financial dependence.

According to him, many women who live lavish lifestyles without stable financial independence often endure mistreatment just to maintain their access to wealth and luxury.

He wrote:

“Most poor and broke Nigerian girls with expensive taste have no option except tolerate shit from men. She will go back to him on her knees.”

His post came in reaction to widespread claims that Regina Daniels had suffered abuse at the hands of her husband, with some reports suggesting that their marriage may be on the verge of collapse.
