Gumel issued a stern warning to political figures in the state, urging them to refrain from actions that could incite violence. He emphasized that the police, in collaboration with other security agencies, had heightened security measures at various locations in the state to prevent any breach of peace.

“Security has been reinforced in strategic areas to uphold tranquility. I call on leaders of all political parties to advise their supporters against making reckless statements that could spark violence. He reassured citizens of the police’s commitment to ensuring their safety and encouraged them to carry on with their lawful activities.
