Yobe State Governor Approves Gratuity Adjustment To Enhance Payouts

A statement from the office of the Commissioner of Finance, Mohammed Abacha, indicated that the purpose of this adjustment is to augment the monthly disbursement of gratuity to the beneficiaries.
“The review aims to expand the coverage of retired public officers and ensure that the next of kin of deceased employees receive their retirement benefits more promptly,” the statement noted.
This adjustment highlights the Yobe State government’s dedication to ensuring timely retirement benefit disbursements to retirees. Additionally, the entitlements of deceased civil servants’ next of kin will be paid to provide support to the beneficiaries.
