“In the face of subsidy removal, NANS chose to engage constructively with the government instead of aligning with its adversaries to protest and disrupt governance. Their approach showcases stability, capability, and reliability,” he remarked.
Appreciating NANS for deeming him worthy of the prestigious award, Msuaan pledged his support for any progressive and meaningful initiatives undertaken by the student body.
Regretting his absence from the NANS summit, he explained that the event coincided with the inauguration of ministers, an event he attended in solidarity with his friends who were appointed ministers by President Bola Tinubu.
Expressing his satisfaction with the service award, Msuaan indicated that NANS had always been his constituency. He said, “I am a product of struggle and a participant in struggles. NANS has provided me with exposure and propelled me to my current position.”
He encouraged the student leaders to maintain their dedication to serving the nation as tomorrow’s leaders.
Conveying the award on behalf of the national president in Abuja, Senate President Comrade Nnalue Attah extolled Hon. Msuaan’s exceptional leadership qualities as a former student unionist, depicting him as an inspiration to students and the entire nation.
