The Presidency also disclosed that before the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation announced his exit on Tuesday, Edun paid a valedictory visit to President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, where they held a lengthy discussion before he departed to focus on private business interests.

Before his ministerial appointment in 2023, Dangiwa had served as Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank and as Secretary to the Katsina State Government.
