According to reports from Naija News, Nasty Blaq faced criticism online for a controversial skit video following the engagement of reality TV star Queen to her longtime friend, David. The video seemed to allude to Lord Lamba and Queen’s situation, where they contemplated terminating a pregnancy before reconsidering due to medical advice and financial implications.
The skit garnered negative reactions, with some suggesting it was aimed at Lord Lamba, who had initially denied paternity of their child until Queen’s engagement announcement.
Taking to his Instagram on Monday, Nasty Blaq stated, “I had to delete the video I did with Queen for a reason.”
Meanwhile, Lord Lamba has addressed why he chose not to publicly acknowledge his daughter with Big Brother Naija star, Queen Mercy Atang.
Lord Lamba recently shared a photo of their daughter on social media after Queen’s engagement, prompting criticism accusing him of jealousy and attempting to sabotage Queen’s happiness.
In a statement posted on his official Instagram page on Monday, Lord Lamba clarified that he refrained from sharing his daughter’s face on social media to shield her from online negativity. He asserted his right as a father to protect his child and denied accusations of neglect, highlighting his active involvement in her life, including attending her birthday party and arranging play dates.
