In her statement, she announced the upcoming screening exercise for pensioners who have been on the payroll of the Local Government Staff Pension Board from 1979 to 2008.

She explained that the purpose of this exercise is to facilitate the payment of gratuities to these pensioners. Mrs. Osas-Ehigie further clarified that the screening would take place at the premises of the Local Government Staff Pensions Board, located at King Square in Benin City.

She instructed all eligible pensioners to physically attend the screening venue during the period from Monday, October 16th to Friday, October 20th, 2023.

The screening hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Additionally, pensioners should bring their pension identity card, biometrics slip, and pay advice for the screening process.
