Egukawhore’s appeal comes as a response to the commemoration of the fourth anniversary of his mother’s passing, an event themed “Enduring Love for Motherhood,” held in Patani local government area of Delta State.
Addressing both journalists and a significant assembly of attendees at the annual event, Egukawhore highlighted the urgency of implementing his philanthropic efforts within the community.
He underlined that the primary intent of the yearly gathering is to honor and immortalize his beloved mother, whose legacy continues to impact the family and society on a broad scale.
Characterizing the occasion as a platform to formally exhibit his deep affection for motherhood, Egukawhore attracted the attendance of esteemed members of society to the rural surroundings of Patani, Delta State.
The event commemorated the fourth anniversary of his revered mother’s transition, Deaconess (Mrs) Magdalene Zipuamere Egukawho (nee Okoro).
Additionally, Dr. Iti Onigbani, the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Tourism, echoed the significance of tapping into the concealed tourism potentials present in the Niger Delta region.
Dr. Onigbani underscored the importance for both federal and state governments in the area to capitalize on these latent resources, along with their substantial oil and gas assets, as a means to amplify local economies and augment foreign exchange earnings.
