A Facebook user had claimed that the governor ordered the detention of two Kini Country Home staff members who had shouted “two months to go” as he left the premises on Wednesday.

The governor, through his Media Personal Assistant, Emmanuel Innocent Akwe, dismissed these allegations, characterizing them as opposition propaganda. He emphasized that freedom of speech is permitted by law, as long as it does not involve slander or defamation.
