Sh*ck Move In Rivers! Ahoada West APC Declares Loyalty To Wike, Defies Party Lines

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State has announced its intention to align with the political direction of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, ahead of the 2027 general elections.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

This declaration was made on Sunday during Wike’s “thank you” visit to the area by the APC chairman in the LGA, Rejoice Otobo. He told the minister that party members were prepared to follow his lead, pointing to the visible development recorded under Wike’s administration as former governor of Rivers State.

According to Otobo, the people of Ahoada West are united in their decision to support Wike’s political choices. “We are waiting for your directives as 2027 approaches. Wherever you lead us, that is where we will go. Whatever you instruct us to do, we are ready to do it,” he said.

The show of allegiance cut across party lines, as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the LGA, Ikechukwu Obuzor, also reaffirmed his loyalty to Wike. He assured the minister of the community’s full backing, stressing that Ahoada West would stand with him completely in the next general elections.

Earlier, the chairman of Ahoada West Local Government, Chita Eugene, hailed Wike as the “political field marshal of the South-South,” commending him for attracting numerous development projects to Rivers State during his tenure.

Eugene described the visit as a tribute to effective leadership and impactful governance rather than a mere courtesy call.

Also addressing the gathering, Representative Victor Obuzor of the Ahoada-East/ONELGA Federal Constituency said Wike’s record in office justified the widespread support he continues to enjoy across the state.
