Gumel emphasized that any defiance of this directive would be considered a violation of national security.

He stated, “We have received information that both the APC and NNPP members are currently mobilizing individuals under the pretense of a Civil Society Coalition, without obtaining clearance from the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress and without prior approval from state security agencies.”

Gumel further warned that any disregard for the guidelines set by the Nigeria Labour Congress and the security agencies would not only be considered uncivil and criminal but would also be viewed as a threat to national security.
