Assuring Nigerians of a commitment to maintaining steady academic programs with a stable calendar nationwide, the president addressed 14,866 first-degree graduates at the University of Uyo’s (UNIUYO) combined convocation.
Represented by the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, Tinubu urged the graduates to be ambassadors of Nigeria, contributing their ingenuity to revive the country’s economy.
He stated that his administration has implemented measures to enhance the university’s effectiveness in teaching, research, and manpower development, with a focus on updating education quality and standards across the nation’s schools.
